Davoll’s is the oldest general store in America — operating since 1793! The owners have included (in order, since the late 1700s) the Howland, Cumming, Allen, Slocum, Tucker, Church, Potter, Sherratt, Davoll, Morrison, Glennon, Arruda & Chouinard, and, currently, Shattuck families.
